OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT WOF DECENTRALIZED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 The First Global Decentralized O-Sport World Championship The World O-Sport Federation (WOF) is pleased to announce the inaugural WOF Decentralized World Championship 2026, an innovative international competition format designed to enable athletes from different countries to participate in a unified World Championship without the requirement to travel to a single host venue. Following its inaugural edition, the WOF Decentralized World Championship will become an official annual event on the WOF international sports calendar. The competition format will remain open to the inclusion of additional O-Sport disciplines and competition events in future editions, subject to the approval of the competent technical authorities of WOF. 1. EVENT INFORMATION Official Title: WOF Decentralized World Championship 2026 Organizing Body: World O-Sport Federation (WOF) Inaugural Edition: 2026 ROUND 1 — WORLD QUALIFIER Date: 19 November 2026 The World Qualifier will be conducted simultaneously in participating countries at one or more venues approved by WOF. Each participating country may organize its national qualification activities at multiple approved locations, subject to the official WOF technical and organizational requirements. All athletes shall compete under the same WOF competition regulations, technical standards and judging protocols. ROUND 2 — GLOBAL LIVE FINAL Dates: 22–23 November 2026 The Global Live Final will be conducted over two days in order to accommodate the multiple disciplines, age categories and competition events without scheduling conflicts. The leading athletes from the World Qualifier will advance to the Global Live Final. The final number of qualified athletes per discipline, category and gender will be determined by the official competition regulations and may, where applicable, consist of eight (8) or ten (10) finalists. Finalists will participate live and simultaneously from their respective approved national locations under the supervision of the WOF Global Jury. 2. DECENTRALIZED VENUE FORMAT The WOF Decentralized World Championship introduces a multi-location international competition model. Participating countries may conduct the competition at approved venues corresponding to one of the following venue levels: LEVEL 1 — SPORT ARENA Sports halls, clubs, gyms and other standardized sporting facilities. LEVEL 2 — CULTURE & LANDMARK Approved historical, cultural and landmark locations. LEVEL 3 — NATURE & ADVENTURE Approved natural, outdoor and adventure locations. The ion of a venue level shall not affect the athlete’s technical score or competitive result. All athletes must be evaluated according to the same WOF technical standards and competition protocols. ⸻ 3. OFFICIAL COMPETITION DISCIPLINES The inaugural 2026 edition is planned to include the following seven disciplines: 1. SHUFFLE An artistic and skill-based discipline emphasizing rhythm, coordination, body control and technical execution. 2. TRICKING A performance discipline combining acrobatic movements, body-control skills and dynamic technical execution. 3. SHADOW FIGHT An individual combat-performance discipline involving the execution of martial techniques without a physical opponent, assessed according to the applicable WOF technical criteria. 4. STRONG FIT A functional strength and fitness discipline incorporating bodyweight and functional performance tests. Potential competition events may include: Pull-Up | Push-Up | Squat | Burpee | Dead Hang | Functional Tests The final event structure shall be established by the official WOF technical regulations. 5. KNIFE THROWING A precision-based discipline involving standardized knife-throwing techniques against an approved target. SPEED & POWER A combined speed and explosive-power discipline consisting of three standardized tests: Sprint Standing Long Jump Vertical Jump The overall ranking shall be determined according to the official WOF scoring system. 7. EXTREME HYBRID A standardized functional race combining multiple physical-performance components, including: Running | Push | Pull | Carry | Squat | Jump | Burpee | Functional Stations Athletes shall complete the prescribed course in the shortest valid time while complying with the technical standards of each station. 4. AGE CATEGORIES AND GENDER The competition shall be conducted in the official WOF age categories and in the following gender divisions: Men Women The applicable age categories, eligibility requirements, age verification procedures and category-specific technical requirements shall be established in the official WOF Decentralized World Championship 2026 Regulations. 5. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS Athletes achieving the first three positions in each applicable discipline, age category and gender division shall receive: GOLD MEDAL WOF World Champion — Certificate of Championship SILVER MEDAL WOF World Championship — Second Place Certificate BRONZE MEDAL WOF World Championship — Third Place Certificate Where a discipline consists of multiple official competition events, event-specific medals and an overall discipline championship may be awarded in accordance with the applicable technical regulations. 6. COMPETITION CONTROL AND VALIDATION Due to the decentralized nature of the Championship, all participating locations shall operate under a unified WOF control and validation system. The official competition framework may include: • Athlete identification and registration • Venue accreditation • Standardized competition equipment • Local judging • Video documentation • Result submission • Technical verification • Global ranking • WOF jury review • Appeals and dispute procedures The detailed procedures shall be specified in the official WOF regulations and technical documentation. 7. OFFICIAL REGULATIONS This announcement provides a general description of the event and its disciplines. ANNUAL GLOBAL EVENT The WOF Decentralized World Championship is established as an official annual event of the World O-Sport Federation beginning with its inaugural edition in 2026. The format is designed as an evolving international competition platform, allowing WOF to introduce additional disciplines, styles and competition events in future editions, subject to technical evaluation and formal approval by the competent authorities of the Federation. TECHNICAL & COMPETITION REGULATIONS Version 1.0 — Draft for Official Approval ARTICLE 1 — GENERAL PROVISIONS 1.1 Official Title The official title of the competition shall be: WOF DECENTRALIZED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 1.2 Organizing Authority The Championship shall be organized under the authority of the: World O-Sport Federation (WOF) 1.3 Inaugural Edition The 2026 edition shall constitute the first implementation of the WOF Decentralized World Championship format. The initiative has been developed by: Dr. Mohammad Ghasem Manouchehri Founder & Secretary-General World O-Sport Federation 1.4 Annual Status Following its inaugural edition, the WOF Decentralized World Championship shall be established as an official annual event on the WOF international calendar, subject to the applicable decisions and regulations of the Federation. ARTICLE 2 — COMPETITION CONCEPT The WOF Decentralized World Championship is an international multi-location competition in which athletes participate in their respective countries while competing under a unified global competition system. The Championship consists of two principal rounds: ROUND 1 WORLD QUALIFIER ROUND 2 GLOBAL LIVE FINAL The objective of the decentralized format is to provide international participation without requiring all athletes to travel to a single physical host venue. ARTICLE 3 — OFFICIAL DATES 3.1 World Qualifier 19 November 2026 The World Qualifier shall be conducted simultaneously in participating countries. 3.2 Verification Period 20–21 November 2026 During this period, WOF shall conduct: • Technical verification • Result validation • Video review • Athlete eligibility verification • Appeals processing • Final ranking • Confirmation of finalists • Technical testing for the Global Live Final 3.3 Global Live Final 22–23 November 2026 The Global Live Final shall be conducted over two competition days. The final schedule shall be published by WOF according to the number of disciplines, events, categories and qualified athletes. ARTICLE 4 — PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES National federations, associations, clubs or other organizations recognized or authorized by WOF may participate in the Championship in accordance with WOF regulations. Each participating country may organize the World Qualifier at: • One official venue; or • Multiple official venues. All venues must receive appropriate authorization from WOF or the designated national organizing authority. ARTICLE 5 — VENUE LEVELS The Championship may be conducted through three venue classifications. LEVEL 1 — SPORT ARENA Standard sports facilities, gyms, clubs and indoor or outdoor competition venues. LEVEL 2 — CULTURE & LANDMARK Approved cultural, historical and landmark locations. LEVEL 3 — NATURE & ADVENTURE Approved natural, outdoor and adventure locations. The venue classification shall have no effect on the athlete’s technical score. Technical competition standards must remain identical regardless of venue. ARTICLE 6 — OFFICIAL DISCIPLINES The inaugural edition shall include the following seven disciplines: 1. SHUFFLE 2. TRICKING 3. SHADOW FIGHT 4. STRONG FIT 5. KNIFE THROWING 6. SPEED & POWER 7. EXTREME HYBRID WOF reserves the right to add, modify or remove competition events in future editions following technical review and formal approval. ARTICLE 7 — DISCIPLINE DEFINITIONS 7.1 SHUFFLE Shuffle is an artistic movement discipline emphasizing • Rhythm • Coordination • Footwork • Body control • Musical interpretation • Technical execution Athletes shall perform an official WOF routine or prescribed competition format. Judging shall be based on the applicable WOF artistic criteria. 7.2 TRICKING Tricking is a dynamic performance discipline incorporating: • Acrobatic movement • Kicks • Spins • Flips • Transitions • Body control • Technical combinations [8/30/2026 9:35 AM] Manouchehri: Judging shall consider technical difficulty, execution, control, creativity and overall performance according to the official WOF scoring protocol. 7.3 SHADOW FIGHT Shadow Fight is an individual combat-performance discipline. The athlete performs a prescribed or structured sequence of martial techniques without physical contact with an opponent. Evaluation may include: • Technical accuracy • Speed • Power • Coordination • Balance • Control • Combination quality • Overall execution No physical contact between athletes is permitted. 7.4 STRONG FIT Strong Fit is a functional strength and physical-performance discipline. Competition events may include: • Pull-Up • Push-Up • Squat • Burpee • Dead Hang • Functional Strength Tests The exact number of repetitions, time limits, movement standards and equipment specifications shall be established in the applicable WOF event protocol. Athletes shall be ranked according to the official scoring system. 7.5 KNIFE THROWING Knife Throwing is a precision discipline involving standardized throwing techniques toward an approved target.
Competition regulations shall specify: • Approved equipment • Target dimensions • Throwing distance • Number of attempts • Scoring zones • Valid and invalid throws • Safety procedures Knife Throwing shall be conducted only at venues meeting the WOF safety requirements. 7.6 SPEED & POWER Speed & Power is a combined physical-performance discipline consisting of three standardized tests: A. SPRINT Short-distance speed test. B. STANDING LONG JUMP Measurement of horizontal explosive power. C. VERTICAL JUMP Measurement of vertical explosive power. Each event shall produce an official result. The combined championship ranking shall be determined through the WOF approved scoring conversion system. 7.7 EXTREME HYBRID Extreme Hybrid is a standardized multi-station functional race combining: • Running • Pushing • Pulling • Carrying • Squatting • Jumping • Burpees • Functional stations The athlete must complete the prescribed course in the shortest valid time. The course shall be standardized by WOF with respect to: • Distance • Number of stations • Repetitions • Equipment • Load • Movement standards • Penalties • Timing procedures The exact course shall be published as an official technical annex. ARTICLE 8 — AGE CATEGORIES The Championship shall be conducted in official WOF age categories. The applicable categories for the 2026 edition shall be published in the official Age Category Schedule. Age eligibility shall be determined according to the athlete’s date of birth and the official WOF eligibility date. WOF reserves the right to establish different technical requirements for different age categories where required for safety and competitive fairness. ARTICLE 9 — GENDER CATEGORIES The Championship shall include: MEN and WOMEN Any additional category or classification shall require formal approval by WOF. ARTICLE 10 — REGISTRATION Each athlete must be registered through the official registration system designated by WOF. Registration shall include, as applicable: • Full name • Date of birth • Gender • Nationality • Country of representation • Discipline • Age category • Photograph • Identification document • Required declarations • Emergency contact information An athlete may participate in more than one discipline subject to the registration rules and competition schedule. ARTICLE 11 — ATHLETE IDENTIFICATION All athletes participating in the World Qualifier and Global Live Final must be individually identifiable. WOF may require: • Government-issued identification • Athlete registration number • Official bib or number • Live identity verification • Video identity verification An athlete may not transfer their registration to another person. ARTICLE 12 — LOCAL ORGANIZATION Each participating country shall designate an authorized national organizing team. ARTICLE 13 — LOCAL JUDGING Each official venue shall appoint qualified local judges or officials. Local judges shall: • Verify athlete identity • Control the competition • Apply technical rules • Record valid results • Identify technical faults • Complete official result sheets • Support video verification WOF may reject or review any result where the technical or judging standards have not been properly applied. ARTICLE 14 — GLOBAL JURY The WOF Global Jury shall have authority over the international validation and final adjudication process. The Global Jury may: • Review competition videos • Verify disputed results • Confirm qualification • Review technical violations • Evaluate artistic disciplines • Validate final results • Decide appeals within its jurisdiction The decision of the competent WOF authority shall be final, subject to the applicable WOF disciplinary procedures. ARTICLE 15 — VIDEO DOCUMENTATION Due to the decentralized format, video documentation is an essential component of competition verification. Each official competition attempt shall be recorded according to the WOF Video Protocol. The recording shall, where applicable, clearly show: • Athlete identity • Competition number • Entire competition area • Relevant equipment • Full execution • Start and finish • Judge or official • Timing device • Final result Edited or manipulated footage shall not be accepted as official competition evidence. ARTICLE 16 — RESULT SUBMISSION Official results shall be submitted through the WOF designated competition management system. Each result shall be associated with: Athlete + Country + Venue + Discipline + Category + Official Result WOF may request additional evidence before accepting a result. ARTICLE 17 — WORLD QUALIFIER The World Qualifier shall be an open qualification stage conducted simultaneously on: 19 November 2026 Athletes shall compete according to the applicable discipline regulations. Results shall be submitted to WOF following completion of the competition. The global ranking shall be established after technical verification. ARTICLE 18 — QUALIFICATION FOR GLOBAL LIVE FINAL The leading athletes in each discipline, age category and gender shall qualify for the Global Live Final. The standard target qualification field shall be: TOP 8 or TOP 10 ATHLETES The final number shall be determined by the official event schedule. Where an athlete is disqualified or withdraws before the final, WOF may promote the next eligible athlete according to the official ranking. ARTICLE 19 — GLOBAL LIVE FINAL The Global Live Final shall take place on: 22–23 November 2026 Finalists shall participate from their approved national locations. The competition shall be conducted according to a synchronized global schedule. The WOF Global Jury shall supervise the final competition. The technical format may include: • Simultaneous execution • Timed attempts • Individual performances • Centralized judging • Video verification • Electronic result submission The final schedule shall ensure that no athlete is required to participate in simultaneous events. ARTICLE 20 — FINAL SCORING Unless otherwise specified in the discipline-specific regulations: Performance-based disciplines Scores shall be determined by the official WOF judging criteria. Time-based disciplines The fastest valid time shall receive the highest ranking. Distance-based disciplines The greatest valid distance shall receive the highest ranking. Repetition-based disciplines The highest number of valid repetitions shall receive the highest ranking. Combined disciplines A standardized WOF scoring conversion shall be used to combine individual event results. ARTICLE 21 — PENALTIES Penalties may be imposed for: • Invalid movement • Incorrect technique • False start • Failure to complete an element [8/30/2026 9:35 AM] Manouchehri: • Incorrect equipment • Leaving the designated area • Violation of safety rules • Failure to comply with judge instructions Penalties may consist of: • Repetition deduction • Time penalty • Score deduction • Invalid attempt • Disqualification The applicable penalty shall be defined in each discipline’s technical annex. ARTICLE 22 — SAFETY Safety is a fundamental requirement of the Championship. All organizers must ensure: • Safe competition surfaces • Appropriate equipment • Qualified officials • Medical or first-aid arrangements • Emergency procedures • Adequate competition space • Appropriate athlete preparation For Knife Throwing and other disciplines involving elevated safety risks, additional safety protocols shall apply. WOF may suspend or cancel a competition at any location where safety standards are not satisfied. ARTICLE 23 — EQUIPMENT STANDARDIZATION Where equipment affects the competitive result, WOF shall establish technical specifications. These may include: • Dimensions • Weight • Material • Size • Resistance • Height • Distance • Surface • Approved manufacturers or equivalent specifications Local substitutions may be used only where they meet the official WOF technical specifications. ARTICLE 24 — TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL COMPETITION SYSTEM The Championship shall use a centralized digital competition management structure. The system shall support, where applicable: • Athlete registration • Venue registration • Competition scheduling • Result submission • Global ranking • Video submission • Technical verification • Jury review • Final qualification • Official results Video-conferencing and streaming technologies may be used for the Global Live Final. The ed communication platform shall be determined by WOF according to reliability, capacity, security and technical requirements. ARTICLE 25 — GLOBAL LIVE CONNECTION For the Global Live Final, each finalist location shall satisfy minimum technical requirements regarding: • Internet stability • Camera position • Audio • Lighting • Competition-area visibility • Backup communication • Technical supervision The final technical specifications shall be published in the WOF Global Live Final Technical Manual. ARTICLE 26 — APPEALS An appeal may be submitted by an athlete or authorized national representative in accordance with the official appeal procedure. Appeals must be submitted within the prescribed time period. Appeals may concern: • Technical scoring • Result calculation • Eligibility • Video verification • Competition procedure • Disqualification The applicable WOF jury or competent authority shall review the appeal. ARTICLE 27 — WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MEDALS AND TITLES The following awards shall be presented where applicable: GOLD MEDAL WOF WORLD CHAMPION SILVER MEDAL WOF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP — SECOND PLACE BRONZE MEDAL WOF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP — THIRD PLACE Each medalist shall receive an official WOF championship certificate or diploma. Where a discipline includes multiple official events, WOF may award: • Event medals • Overall discipline medals • Overall World Championship titles according to the applicable discipline regulations. ARTICLE 28 — OFFICIAL RESULTS Only results validated and published by WOF shall be considered official World Championship results. Official results may include: • Athlete ranking • Country • Discipline • Age category • Gender • Result • Final ranking • Medal status ARTICLE 29 — FUTURE DEVELOPMENT The WOF Decentralized World Championship is intended to function as an evolving international competition platform. WOF may introduce: • New disciplines • New styles • New competition events • New age categories • New competition formats in future editions following technical evaluation and formal approval. ARTICLE 30 — OFFICIAL STATUS OF THE REGULATIONS These Technical & Competition Regulations establish the general framework for the WOF Decentralized World Championship 2026. In the event of a conflict between these general regulations and a discipline-specific technical annex, the approved discipline-specific regulation shall prevail for that discipline. WOF reserves the right to issue technical bulletins, amendments and official clarifications where necessary. ARTICLE 31 — OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION All official announcements, amendments, schedules, technical manuals and competition documents shall be communicated through the official channels of the: WORLD O-SPORT FEDERATION- WOF National organizers, athletes, judges and participating organizations are responsible for following the latest officially published version of the regulations. FINAL DECLARATION The WOF Decentralized World Championship establishes a new international competition model in which athletes can compete for a World Championship title from their respective countries while remaining part of one unified global competition. The inaugural edition shall take place in 2026, with the World Qualifier on 19 November and the Global Live Final on 22–23 November 2026.
